# Posted: 8 Aug 2007 22:09:42 - I have installed the Resource Name script and have that column displayed. But I cannot type in it. The action 'Define task to resource' is greyed out. I can't find where I type the list of resource names. This is not user friendly. Please help! Thanks very much. |

# Posted: 3 Sep 2007 17:01:28 - Sonja, Sorry for the delay. I've been away for several months. To assign resources to a task: 1. Open a resource report, and add a row for each resource that will be available for your projects. 2. Open a task report. 3. Select the task you want to assign resources to, by clicking on its row number. 4. Click on "Assign Resource to Task." A window will appear with the names of all the resources. 5. Click on each of the resources you want to assign to that task. 6. Click "OK." Hope this helps. Regards, Alex |

# Posted: 15 Oct 2007 14:24:48 - Never mind, I got it. I need to click on the resource number, rather than in the cell where I expect to be able to type in the resource.
