# Posted: 8 Dec 2004 22:06:57 - I don't know if it is expected that GanttPV 0.3 will run under Windows 98, but I tried it anyway :) I got an error that I don't understand. It said: Error while loading DLL 'unicows.dll'! The application will terminate now. Where does the unicows.dll come in. Has anyone run GanttPV under windows 98? My 98 install hasn't impressed me as being real stable, so I wouldn't worry very much about it. Running Windows 98 Second edition. |

# Posted: 13 Dec 2004 20:55:34 - The Windows version of GanttPV uses Unicode. Unicode support does not come standard in all versions of Windows. I found a pair of web sites that offered a solution to the problem. I don't have Windows 98 so I can't test it. You will need to download this file, or copy it from another program and place it in your 'system32' dir (usually 'c:\windows\system32') from http://forums.marpirc.net/viewtopic.php?t=11139 1. Go here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads 2. Search for "unicode". 3. Download this: "Platform Software Development Kit Redistributable: Microsoft Layer for Unicode on Windows 95, 98, and Me Systems, 1.0.4018.0" 4. Install it. 5. Have fun. |
